I think this article is a little bit missing the point. No one has claimed ChatGPT is an AGI.

I myself fell for this trap after a couple of minutes, as I initially was not very happy when CGPT couldn't pass a simple touring test.

I myself fell for this trap after a couple of minutes, as I initially was not very happy when CGPT couldn't pass a simple touring test.

HOWEVER, the real power is imho that it makes for a great side-kick.

It's like a toddler who can't yet put his shoes on but however gives you great life lessons. Just give him a little time and you'll see.

I tested CGPT with building a simple Chrome extension. I did it in 20 minutes (CGPT gave me the code and instructions to install and everything) . It would have taken me hours to read/debug/etc... Say it would have taken me 5h, then using chatgpt is equivalent to having making me 15x faster/efficient.

This applies for so many things...
